Anthony A. Wojtaszek
Age 83, of Canton, passed away Tuesday June 7, 2011 in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was born June 1, 1928 in Canton to the late Joseph and Mary (Salamon) Wojtaszek. Anthony was a Korean War veteran having served with the 4th Division in the U.S. Army and was a life resident of the Canton area. He retired from The Timken Company in 1987 after 35 years of service and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was a life member of the VFW Post #3124, SOAR and the Polish-American Citizens Club. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Wojtaszek; one sister, Sophie Wojtaszek. He is survived by one sister, Helen Criswell of Canton; two nephews, Joseph Wojtaszek and Mark Criswell both of Canton; five great nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be Saturday June 11, 2011 at 10:00am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Klingler as celebrant. Interment with military honors in Calvary Cemetery.
