Annie Ruth Gibson
Annie Ruth Gibson, age 91, of Massillon passed away Friday morning May 30, 2008 in Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood, West Virginia. Ruth was born in Replete, West Virginia to the late Bolten and Ila (Chipps) Bickel. Preceded in death by her husband, Dana "Peck" Gibson; four brothers, Joyce, Oney, Oval and Buddy Bickel; three sisters, Goldie Myers, Sylvia Myers and Wanda Bickel. The loving family members she has left behind include two daughters and sons-in-law, Flora J. "Jodi" and Bernard Dean, Patricia and Thomas Weyand; five grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Debbie Dean, Jeff and Dava Dean, Lori and Kevin Wood, Paula and Darnell Washington, Shelly and Bill Welker; ten great grandchildren, Robbie, Becky, Nick, Caitlin, Jen, Jake, Amy, Ryan, Libby and Hallie; one sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Bob Louis; one brother and sister-in-law, Perry and Fran Bickel; Ruth and Peck's dearest friends, Boyd and Lillian Edwards; and many dear nieces and nephews that they have shared many happy memories with. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Ruth's grandson, Michael Dean officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 pm.
