Annie C. "Cassie" Clayton
Age 91, of North Canton died Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Pennsylvania on May 14, 1919 and was a Canton area resident most of her life. She was owner/operator of the former Cathleene's Bridal Shop. Cassie was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Waco. Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Hilda Brown; her husband, James C. Clayton in 1993; four sisters, Betty, Lilly, Zolia and Jean; four brothers, Junior, Don, Buck and Leroy. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lee and Guss Arrendale of North Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Fran Clayton of East Canton; five grandchildren, Bud, Brian, Tina, Christina and Annie; several great grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Trescott of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Janet Brown of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Aultman Hospital for their special care given to Annie. Funeral services will be Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Carolyn Nichols officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4pm.
