Anne S. Posey
Age 74, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2011 in Select Specialty Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born November 18, 1936 in Canton to the late Michael and Anna (Ruby) Tolin. Anne was a 1954 graduate of McKinley High School and a life resident of the Stark County area. She was the co-owner/operator of North Chapel Laundromat in Louisville for many years. She was a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church, Canton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Tolin; two sisters, Dorothy Chirumbolo and Frances Tolin. She is survived by her husband, Richard P. Posey to whom she was married 55 years; three children and their spouses, Richard P. and Karen Posey Jr. of Louisville, Jan and Kevin Kendle of Dover, Lisa and David Lange of Canton; five grandchildren, Brenda Pauli, Richard Posey, Nickolas and Matthew Kendle and Amber Grimes; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kannon Posey; one sister, Bette Hopps of N. Canton; one sister-in-law, Beverly Tolin of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday March 28, 2011 at 9:30am in Christ the Servant Parish at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, where the procession will form, with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-5pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
