Anna Mary Travis
Age 89, of East Sparta died unexpectedly Monday June 13, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center. Born January 29, 1922 in Montgomery, AL. to the late John S. and Lula A. (Stringer) Stanley. She was a Canton area resident most of her life and retired from Montgomery Ward Department Store and the Four Winds Restaurant. Preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters. Survived by four daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Lewis, Cathy Weaver, Cindy and Ron Hermann, Pamela Travis; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Stanley, Gordon and Carol Travis, Jeffery and Ginger Travis, John Travis; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Wegmann and Mickey Burgi; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday June 20, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm.
