Anna M. Sommerhalder
Age 88, of Canton died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in the Pines Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born October 22, 1928 in St. Louis, MO. to the late Elton and Muriel (Jarvis) Reese. She was a Canton resident for the past 16 years prior to which she had resided in California. Anna was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God. Preceded in death by her husband, Ullrich Sommerhalder Jr; one brother and one sister. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rockanna and Randal Squires of Canton; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Rebekah, Rachel, Ryan, Renee, Rochelle and Roxanne; 31 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 10:30am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Jeff Deem officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday (Tonight) from 5 – 7 pm.
