Ann L. Zugcic
Age 95, of Canton died Saturday, December 28, 2013 in her home following a brief illness. Born April 3, 1918 in Alliance, OH. to the late Joseph and Frances (Popkovich) Srmag. She was a Canton resident for the past 70 years and had been a long time member of St Anthony's Catholic Church. She was a lifetime member of the Croatian Fraternal Union. Ann was an avid gardener and enjoyed making crafts of all types, especially creating one-of-a-kind bead pendants and ornaments. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael Zugcic in 1997; four sisters, Frances, Amelia, Stephanie and Louise; three brothers, Joseph, Nicholas and Frank. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Zugcic of the home. A private graveside service has taken place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Boys Town, St. Jude Children's Hospital and/or Osnaburg Historical Society.
