Andrew A. Pachuta
Age 85, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday January 6, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born October 19, 1925 in Lore City, OH to the late John and Teresa (Lackney) Pachuta. Andrew was a WWII Navy veteran and a Magnolia resident since 1982. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 35 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton where he had served as an usher. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son, John Pachuta; two brothers, Mike and Emil Pachuta. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. (Kozar) Pachuta to whom he was married 59 years; seven children, Andrew and Shalla Pachuta Jr. of Canton, Carol Pachuta of Houston, TX, David and Lori Pachuta of Canton, Gary Pachuta of Canton, Christopher Pachuta of Canton, Matthew and Jodi Pachuta of Columbus, Susan Pachuta and her fiancée, Bill Welch of Canton; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; one sister Mary Kozar of Lore City, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday January 10, 2011 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Interment with military honors in Calvary Cemetery.
