Amella M. Herman
Amella M. Herman, age 89, of Louisville died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Aultman Hospital with her family by her side following a brief illness. Born in Canton, OH. on July 3, 1917 to the late Roy and Ida (Richards) Teis. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Amella volunteered with the American Red Cross at Aultman Hospital for 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband, John Herman in 1967; one brother and two sisters. Survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, John Herman of Hanoverton, Robert and Paula Herman of North Canton, James Herman of Nimishillen; three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and John Popovich of Massillon, Susan and Jack Herman-Jones of Canton, Loretta and Billy Coleman of East Canton; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews and will be missed by many friends. Funeral services will be Monday, April 2, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Richard K. Thewlis officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 - 4 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the America Red Cross of Stark County, 521 Market Ave. N., Canton, OH. 44702.
