Allie P. Johnson
Age 99, of Bolivar, passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 in Apache Junction, AZ. She was born November 27, 1911 in Lee County, Arkansas to the late Charles William and Mollie (Leatherwood) Luallen. Allie had served as a seamstress for many years employed by various clothiers in Stark County. She was a member of Canton Temple of Praise Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Beecher L. Johnson Sr. to whom she was married 70 years; two grandsons, Eric Bowker and Rodney Johnson; five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Beecher and Darlene Johnson of Columbus; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores and Don Bowker of Canton, Patricia and Bob Ickes of Arizona, Florence and Jim Shephard of East Canton; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delia Perry and Louise Branan; one brother, Arnold Luallen. Funeral services will be Friday April 15, 2011 at 11:00am in the Canton Temple of Praise Church of God with Pastor Tony Cooper Ken Davis and Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services on Friday at the church (10-11am).
