Alice M. Schofield
Age 82, of Canton died Monday, December 23, 2013 in her home following an extended illness. Born June 21, 1931 in Parkersburg, WVa. the late Lawrence and Bertha (Johnson) Lemon. She was a Canton resident since 1950 and was formerly employed by Montgomery Ward Department Store. Alice was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Sue Schofield; two brothers, Blaine and Herman Lemon; two sisters, Ruth Ellen Lemon and Irene Winans. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clifton K. Schofield; two daughters and son-in-law, Catherine Schofield of Johnson City, Tenn., Ruth and Gene Miller of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cliffton K. Jr. and Sandy Schofield of Canton, David and Cindy Schofield of Wayne, MI; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Evelyn Lemon of Parkersburg, WVa, Lloyd and Kathryn Lemon of Mineral Wells, WVa, Paul and Ruth Ann Lemon of Mineral Wells, WVa; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Lance Lindenberger and Keith Kull officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm.
