Alice Eileen Priest
Age 87, of Canton died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Altercare of Louisville following an extended illness. Born July 3, 1930 in Canton to the late Wilbur and Vera (Baxter) Carpenter. She was a life resident of Canton and a member of VFW Post #3747. Preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Carpenter; one sister, Mary Shearer. She is survived by three children and spouses, Jerry and Karin Priest of Canton Township, William and Cindy Priest of East Canton, Dirk and Diane Priest of Louisville; three grandchildren, Ashley, James and Ryan (Erin); one great granddaughter, Tatum; one sister, June Kerekes. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Altercare of Louisville and Absolute Hospice for their love and care they gave Alice. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Baxter Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Monday from 10 – 11 am.
