Alice Meyers
Alice Meyers, age 90, of Homeworth, OH. died Friday, November 28, 2008 in Alliance Community Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 13, 1918 in Farrell, PA. to the late Eugene and Octavia (George) Denamen. She was a Homeworth resident for the past 6 years, prior to which she was a Canton area resident most of her life. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. Meyers in 1980; one brother, William Denamen; two sisters, Jenny Laird and Katie Witt. Survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Norma and Donald Prosser of Homeworth, Alice Rocco and Carl Moore of Minerva; three sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur J. and Tammy Meyers of Paris, Donald and Pat Meyers of AZ, Paul and Lynn Meyers of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Keith Stephens officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 6 – 8 pm.
