Alice D. Harper
Age 93, of Canton died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center. Born October 27, 1918 in Roane County, WV. to the late Lonnie V. and Mary M. (Good) Parker. She was a Canton resident since 1948. Alice was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where she was involved with the Ambassadors Class. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Bruce Harper in 1984; three brothers, Delmar, Francis and Jennings Parker. She is survived by one daughter, Reva M. Reed of Canton; one sister, Lucille Kirby of West Virginia; one sister-in-law, Nancy Parker of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10-11 am.
