Alice M. Davis, age 70, of Magnolia and formerly of East Canton died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Hennis Care Centre, Bolivar. Born February 2, 1938 in Harrisburg, WV to the late Waldo and Laura Merdeath. Alice was a member of Waynesburg Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Lemaster in 1998; one sister, Linda Merdeath; one brother, Chuck Williamson. Survived by her husband of eight years, Troy D. Davis; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robin and Teresa Lemaster of Lancaster, Bernard Lemaster; two grandchildren; many loving brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at 11:00 am in Waynesburg Freewill Baptist Church, 8600 Waynesburg Dr. S.E., Waynesburg, OH. 44688, with Pastor Raymond Stanley officiating. Interment in Center Church Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday from 10 – 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to the family to defray expenses.
