Alfred G. Fowler
Age 71, of Akron died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in his home following a brief illness. Born June 16, 1943 in Canton, Ohio to the late Buford and Wanda (Heisler) Fowler. He was an Akron resident for the past 16 years prior to which he resided in New York and Canton, OH. Alfred retired from Yellow Freight. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara L. (Bloomhower) Fowler; two sons and daughter-in-law, Aaron Fowler of Canton, Keith and Lynn Fowler of Tallmadge; one daughter, Tracy Fowler of Akron; four grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Pamela Fowler of Massillon. Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at 1:30 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Michael Knibbs and Pastor Louise House officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2 – 4 pm.
