Alberta M. Morris
Alberta M. Morris, age 81, of Paris, OH. went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center. Born April 28, 1925 in Marietta, OH. to the late John M. and Carrie (Thomas) Rumbold. She was a Stark County area resident since 1943 and graduated from Lincoln High School that same year. Alberta worked in several defense plants during WWII. Alberta was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Morris, Sr. in 1977, one son, Frederick Morris, daughter-in-law, Rose Morris, grandson, Gerald L. Freshour, Jr., two brothers, Herman and Warner Rumbold, one sister, Ada Haas. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Jr. and Grace Morris of Lorton, VA, Ronald and Lorraine Morris of Beaver, Pa; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and Gerald Freshour of Canton, Mellissa and Gary Shirley of Tampa, FL, Rebecca Morris of Minerva; one daughter-in-law, Connie Morris of Minerva; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Haas and Edith Franklin both of Canton; sister-in-law, Wanda Hagan; numerous nieces and nephews. "Be still, and know that I am God". Funeral services will be Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ralph Norman officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
