Alberta Louise Knight
Alberta Louise Knight, age 84, of Canton, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 in Infinity Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born, April 9, 1923 in East Sparta to the late August and Maude (Beck) Choffin. She was a life resident of the Canton area, retiring from K-Mart in 1988 after 8 years of service. She was formerly employed by Lawson's for 13 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Knight in 1993; one daughter, Debra Knight in 2004; an infant daughter, Karen Sue Knight; three brothers, Alfred and Edward Choffin, Russell Miller. She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bob Knight of Canton, Rick and Terry Knight of Canton, Gary Knight of Massillon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Bob Christen of Canton, Cheryl and Terry Hackathorn of Massillon, Diane Knight of Canton; 8 grandchildren, Melissa, Lisa, Carrie, Kelly, Jesse, Danny, Richie and Gary; 5 great grandchildren, Olivia, Madison, Carrigan, Faith and Alexander; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Geraldine and Frank Hall of Canton, Edith Newell of North Canton. Funeral services will be Friday February 22, 2008 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Dr. Earl Bailey officiating. Interment in Eden Cemetery.
