Agnes L. "Aggie" Meyer
Agnes L. "Aggie" Meyer, age 85, of Canton, died Wednesday July 4, 2007 in Aultman Hospital. She was born April 17, 1922 in East Sparta, OH, to the late John and Agnes (Zoblanic) Habrun. Aggie was a life resident of the Canton area and a member of North Industry United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for 30 years. She retired from Perry Local Schools in 1986 where she worked as a cook at Edison, Richville and Genoa Schools with 30 years of service. Aggie was a former Den Mother and assisted with the little league program for many years. She was known for her wonderful wedding and all occasion cakes. Aggie was a very loving and caring person; her family was very special to her and the times playing ball with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Baker in 1960; three sisters, Helen Danay, Pauline Herbert and Mary Bennett; two brothers, John Habrun Jr. and Joseph Habrun. She is survived by her husband, Clete Meyer; one son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Denise Baker of Toledo, OH; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Pam Meyer of North Canton, Ed and Flo Meyer of Canton; six grandchildren, Lesley and Corey Baker, Chris, Shawn and Bobbi Jo Meyer, Sam Meyer Jr.; one great grandson, Cole Meyer; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Jean Habrun of Bolivar; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Eileen and Bob Herbert, Margaret Baringer all of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday July 7, 2007 at 11am in North Industry United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Wilson officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday (today) 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church (10-11am).
